Ok, so you know how I just posted on how much would you spend for clear skin? Well…Here’s another example of how far I’m willing to go to have pristine skin. To erase some of the last traces of acne scarring, ice pick scars and general bumpiness my acne woes have left on my chin and right-hand cheek, I have made an appointment to get a consultation for a treatment called Thermage, which I covered briefly in a few posts before.
It’s a treatment where the subdermal layers of your facial skin are specially heated, but with a cool to the touch surface, and this heating is supposed to help restructure your skin on a cellular level and help to smooth out acne scarring.
I’m also hoping it’ll help with my ever-increasing crow’s feet. My appointment isn’t until May, because the cosmetic dermatologist I’m seeing is very popular and is one of the only doctors in the Akron Ohio area where I live that specializes in and has experience in the Thermage process. Wish me luck.
Oh, and YOU KNOW I’ll tell you all about it!
